Andrea McDonald – Residential Technician

Andrea McDonald, one of KLEAN’s Residential Technicians, has become an important asset to our team as she continues to grow with KLEAN. Andrea has worked in recovery for several years working at Clearview as a Technician, Of One Mind in West L.A. which is a behavioral healthcare center for teens, Angels at Risk which is part of Visions Malibu, and as a House Manager at Marina House, a sober living for woman.

Before recovery work, Andrea was an accomplished artist. She attended the School of Visual Arts in New York where she had earned a scholarship to attend. She pursued a degree in Fine Art Photography. At one point in Andrea’s artistic career, she has made collages of various billboards and ended up selling each piece at her own show.

Andrea grew up in Venice and her motto is that life is about the journey and not the destination. Her aspirations are to continue in this line of work including obtaining her degree as an M.F.T. and to help with troubled teenagers.
