Professional Intervention is just the beginning of the story of recovery.  There comes a point where the joy of getting high loses its luster and this happens for many reasons. Maybe you have lost your job, maybe you are broke, perhaps you have lost friends or family, or maybe you lost custody of your kids. Whatever your personal addiction story entails you know in your heart that the story has to come to a close, before it is too late.

Too often it is impossible for someone who is caught up in the vicious cycle of addiction to “think outside the box”. Your thinking is skewed but there are people around you that really love and care about you. You have probably used these people and broken them down too but they are still here for you and that speaks volumes. They realize that you have been headed down a road that can only dead end. They do not know what to do and what they have been doing is simply not working.

This is when the only option left is a professional intervention. This type of intervention is offered by KLEAN and is facilitated by a professional interventionist. Present at the intervention will be the people that love you most and that truly care about you living. Professional interventions have proven to be quite successful, because an addiction specialist manages everything from start to finish.

The professional interventionist does have what the family is lacking, the ability to think outside the box and the experience necessary to get you to treatment so you can begin a successful recovery. After gathering all of the facts together the trained interventionist can devise a plan of recovery that best suits your needs. Often people are anxious about an intervention because they are direct and confrontational. While this is true, they are also delivered with a loving but firm hand. — The intention of the intervention is to stop the self-destructive pattern that you have been following. You must recognize this and accept the help that is being offered to you. This is not open for negotiation nor is it an opportunity to go get high one more time. It is the end of the road for destructive behavior and the beginning of a new journey. This is a journey that will change your life forever.

The professional interventionist will act as the neutral third party in the intervention. The group will address you one by one. They want to tell you how they feel and how your addiction has affected their life. They also want to tell you how much they love you and how much they want to help you. However, if you fail to take the help that is offered then there will be consequences as well. Primarily, these people will tell you that until you are ready to seek professional help they are going to remove themselves from your life entirely.

At KLEAN we have professional counselors that specialize in drug addiction and interventions. They will come to you as part of our treatment program and facilitate the entire intervention process. The desired outcome of any intervention is for the addict to enter treatment. The interventionist will spend a few days with your closest family and friends so they can plan accordingly for your intervention. If you accept, you will be escorted to the treatment facility and admitted to detox/treatment. We will work with you to keep you comfortable at the sign of withdrawal symptoms. There is no need for you to suffer any longer.

Addiction can hit home in any family, regardless of your stature or class. It does not discriminate against race or culture. It can affect everyone any anyone. What addiction does do is kill people. This is why your friends and family have made plans to save your life. This very well could be your last chance. Those closest to you have watched you ignore important responsibilities as your addiction has gotten worse. They have watched your failed attempts to quit using. They have also heard all of your futile excuses about getting into treatment and, they have watched your inability to function without being “loaded.”

Your empty promises have now fallen on deaf ears and now it is your time to shine. Believe it or not, you need those closest to you to make it out of this mess. You need their support in order to win the battle. Professional interventions can sew families back together again when they have been ripped apart by addiction.
